I was able to capture some images for the {G} family the other day. Ms. {C} is expecting twins in just another week or so. Isn’t she beautiful!! Her kids are just adorable and I cannot wait to meet the new little ones later this month. Here are the first few that I edited from their family/maternity session. Enjoy.
Then….we headed over to the park. The kids had a lot of fun playing around (and getting hot & sweaty since it was 107 degrees). Here are a few of my favorites as well as the silhouette shots that Mom has been excited to see!! Hope to have them all done and have your gallery up by the weekend. 
I just love the {C} family! This family is ALL Seahawks, so no photo session would be complete without the team photos. {W} REALLY had fun hamming it up for the camera and he absolutely loved showing off some of his football moves. And little {S} is just the most precious little cheerleader ever. Here are a few pics from our recent session.
Today I was able to get some new photos of {W} & {S}. They are such sweet kids. We had a lot of fun, despite the heat. Here are the first photos I grabbed to edit tonight. More to follow later!!
This week’s challenge at I Heart Faces is “Barefoot Week”. When I saw the title, I could not help but smile remembering these photos of my boys last summer at Rehoboth Beach, DE. They had so much fun running in the waves and digging their toes in the sand! Watching childhood pleasures always brightens my day. I was so happy to have had the opportunity that early morning while we were on vacation to capture some of the essence of childhood!
Before we move on to the photos I wanted to share, I thought I should spend a few minutes on this week’s focus. The inspiration for this week’s challenge was to bring light to a charitable organization in Nashville, TN: Soles 4 Souls.
About Soles 4 Souls: Soles4Souls is a Nashville-based charity that collects shoes from the warehouses of footwear companies and the closets of people like you. The charity distributes these shoes free of charge to people in need, regardless of race, religion, class, or any other criteria. Since 2005, Soles4Souls has given away over 7 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes (currently donating one pair every 9 seconds.) The shoes have been distributed to people in over 125 countries, including Kenya, Thailand, Nepal and the United States. Soles4Souls has been featured in Runner’s World, Ladies’ Home Journal, National Geographic’s Green Guide, and The New York Times. It has appeared on CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, BBC, CNN and thousands of regional news outlets across North America. Soles4Souls is a 501(c)(3) recognized by the IRS and donating parties are eligible for tax advantages. Anyone can join our cause, and we need your help.
I had a lot of fun with the {M} family this weekend in Surprise!! We met the {M} family when {B} was in school with our oldest son and they were on a T-ball team together following that. They became friends very quickly and still love to get together and play any chance they get (although we don’t make it happen as often as we would like to). I did photos of little {E} when she was 4 months old (here). I can’t believe she is already a year and half!! Time goes by so quickly. Anyway….enough of my rambling….on to their sneak peak. These are just the first ones I decided to edit. Enjoy!
I had a great time this weekend with Mr. {E}. He was such a bundle of energy and so much fun. We were instant friends. We had a great time, just playing in his backyard and taking a walk to a nearby grassy area. It was VERY nice to meet you little man!! Here are a few photos from our session.
I had SO much fun with the {C} family. Little {E} and {L} are just so adorable!! And big brother {M} is so much like my boys. It was such a pleasure to spend some time with them. The twins were not interested in taking any photos together (so we weren’t able to use our cute matching hats from CrazySocksCrochet)…we had {L} kicking {E} in the face and {E} trying to eat {L}’s ear…it was really cute though!! But, we were able to get them sleeping at different times and catch some individual photos of them (and we did sneak about 2 photos of them together) as well as some family shots and some photos of Big Brother {M}. Thank you {C} family for letting me spend part of my night with you. Your family is beautiful!! Here is your sneak peak. I can’t wait to edit the rest of the photos and get them to you Mom!!
