This month’s challenge at Rock The Shot is Silhouettes. I have several silhouette photos that I love which made it was really tough to decide which one to enter! I decided on this photo because I love the emotion as well as having the actual silhouette. I’m not sure the same emotion could be seen if the photograph was in full color.
This photo was taken just before sunset at the very end of our session. The kids had a wonderful session. They were hot and tired and ready to go home. I had them just go play in the grass some before we called it a day. They ran and jumped (we have some fun jumping silhouette shots from that same session) and then Big Brother {W} picked up his little sister and started spinning her around. Aren’t they just precious, you can see how much he adores his sister!! I just love this photo! I love the story it tells, I love the memories it evokes for both myself and their mom, I love the way the sun brightens the edges of the silhouette, just a very feel good photo that I hope you all love too.
